Commissions
Commissioning a custom piece of art is a way to turn a favorite memory into a family heirloom.
I use archival watercolor, ink and paper which should last a lifetime with archival matting and framing.
STARTING THE COMMISSION PROCESS
Many of my clients come to me with a vision for the memories that they want to capture be it portraits, family homes, or noteworthy moments. I typically start by asking for a few photos to understand your vision, and I keep you involved throughout the sketching and painting process to ensure your final piece fully captures your moment. ​

SIZE
Size of commissions are typically determined by the scale of the event or image you want portrayed as well as the number of individuals within the painting. It helps to know your preferences or limitations in size, but we can work together to determine the best composition.

​PRICING
My prices for commissions are based on size and complexity of the portraits or compositions. For example, individual portraits start at $295 for a 9x12, while a recent family portrait was $2,500 for a 20x30.Commissions under $500 require payment in full before work begins.
​TIMING
I’m currently taking commissions for January 2026 completion .
Depending on the time or year, commissions typically take 6-12 weeks.

Much work and love are put into each painting, and I want to make sure I have the time to devote to your art. If you would like to commission a painting but your time frame is short, I have a card I can send you to give to your loved one to let them know something special is in the works.
